Tobacco Review : Social Smoke's Grapefruit Chill

Hello everyone! The Smokey Crew here today with another review for you. This time we're sampling Social Smoke's Grapefruit Chill.

For starters, we are smoking out of our Unbranded Egyptian 1-hose, which you can find a review on here, with a Kaloud Vitria and Lotus combination. Our coals of choice for this bowl are Titanium Flats by HookahJohn.

Upon twisting off the cap, you see what is standard for Social Smoke, long cut tobacco with plenty of juices. The tobacco itsself has a light, natural colour and the grapefruit-citrus smell hits. Very fragrant with hints of mint on the back, it is very tantalizing upon first impression.

It is easy to pack, I'd go for a standard low, well-fluffed pack. Definitely do not overpack this flavour as it can get harsh easily with too much heat. So I would recommend not overpacking.

The flavour profile is exactly what you'd expect from the scent, a strong citrus opening note and at it's height the mint cuts through the tartness into a nice minty flavour. This trend is consistent throughout the bowl, and it leaves you feeling very satisfied and refreshed. A very bold flavour, highly recommend for someone wanting a nice fruit and mint mixture.

The clouds are really nice and fluffy, assuming that you didn't overpack the bowl. The inhalation is smooth and unfortunately it isn't as long lasting which leaves you wanting more. If you are inclined, adding ice in the base would really round out the experience and intensify the cooling sensation of the mint.

Michael -- 4/5 stars. A flavour that would please near anyone, even those who aren't a fan of grapefruit. An easy smoke.

Daniel -- 4/5 stars. As someone with a strong sense of smell it's not too overbearing. Taste is a bit light for my preference, but it's still flavourful and the mint is just right for the flavour.

Genevieve -- 4.5/5 stars. This is one of my absolute favourite flavours, perfect for first-timers and those who have a preference for bolder flavours.
